Our volunteer community consists of people of all ages.  We invite you to get involved!  Meet new people, learn new things, and experience the heart and soul of Pike Place Market.  Volunteer as an individual or as a group.

There are several volunteer positions available at PMFB, from food sorting and distributing to grocery rescue. Contact Brian to learn more.

PMSC Meals & Nutrition Program

   Breakfast Prep
   Weekly commitment.  Volunteer shifts are approximately 2 ½ hours and could begin as early as 7am for breakfast prep.

   Lunch Prep
   Weekly commitment.  Lunch shifts generally start at 10am and are over by 1pm. 

   **Cooking experience is not required and volunteers will be trained and supervised by the Meal Program Manager and Lead Cook. Food safety is a priority in our kitchen and all volunteers will be required to take a food safety classand receive a food handlers permit.**

PMSC Wellness-Engagment

Assist Senior Center members with games and other activities. Contact Zoe if you are interested in volunteering for our annual Figgy Pudding holiday event.

PMSC Social Services

Help seniors with chores and assist social workers with a range of services. Some Social Services volunteer positions may require a background check.
